Crown SDS – Driver Trial Terms and Conditions (Night/Flyers Operations)
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all self-employed drivers undertaking work on behalf of Crown SDS as part of a trial initiative relating to Night/Flyers operations.
The purpose of this trial is to support drivers in maximizing earning opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a consistent and reliable service for our client.
This trial is established and managed by Crown SDS.
Crown SDS reserves the right to determine, amend, extend, suspend, or terminate the trial at its sole discretion.
Drivers will be notified of any changes to the trial period where reasonably practicable.
- Work Allocation and Acceptance
Where work is made available through smart allocation or the bidding process for a particular operating day, drivers who elect to accept, such work are deemed to have committed to completing the allocated assignment.
Once work has been allocated, drivers are required to accept and confirm the assignment immediately.
Drivers should only bid for or accept work where they are fully available and committed to completing the assignment as allocated.
- Service Commitment and Performance Review
Late withdrawal from allocated work can have a significant impact on operational planning, service delivery, and Crown SDS’s commitments to its clients.
Where a driver withdraws from accepted or allocated work without sufficient notice, Crown SDS reserves the right to review the circumstances and assess the impact on operational performance.
Such instances may be taken into consideration when reviewing:
- Driver tier status;
- Eligibility for future work allocations;
- Priority access to available assignments; and
- Continued participation in Crown SDS operational programmes and trials.
Each case will be reviewed on its individual circumstances.
- General Provisions
Participation in this trial is voluntary and subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
Crown SDS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and will communicate any material changes to participating drivers.
By bidding for, accepting, or undertaking work under this trial, drivers acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These are in addition to the standard T&C’s already signed and do not supersede the previous ones.
